The Perth-born curler Eve Muirhead first led Team GB aged 19 as she made her Olympic Winter Games debut at Vancouver in 2010. Four years later, she went on to become the youngest ever skip to win a Winter Olympic medal, guiding her rink to bronze in Sochi, before winning gold at Beijing 2022.
A three-time world medallist, Muirhead took up the sport aged nine, with family success going back to her father Gordon, who competed at the 1992 Olympic Winter Games in Albertville, France.
A four-time world junior champion, she has won multiple European and world senior medals – including a second gold at the 2017 European Championships. She was Team GB's Chef de Mission for the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games, Britain’s most successful Winter Olympics ever.
