René Stauffer

René Stauffer has been the tennis correspondent for Zürich’s leading newspapers Tages-Anzeiger and SonntagsZeitung since 1993. Stauffer first began writing about Roger Federer in 1996, when the prodigy was just fifteen, and has travelled the world covering the Swiss star ever since. Stauffer has covered close to 100 Grand Slams and hundreds of other tournaments, as well as ice hockey, golf and five Summer Olympics. He grew up and lives with his family outside Zürich, near Lake Constance.
